In that time we have helped our clients navigate through
upgrades from Windows 3.1, to Windows 95, 98, ME, and XP.
We DO NOT
recommend upgrading your computer for at least SIX MONTHS
from the release of a new operating system. More than
likely you will NOT be able to find compatible drivers for
Printers, Scanners, and other devices you currently have
attached to your ocmputer. For instance...HP states that
they do not anticipate having compatible drivers for Vista for
most of their existing printers until JULY '07.
If you are considering a new computer purchase...we also
recommend that you NOT buy one for several months. IF you
have NO CHOICE we recommend installing a version of Windows XP
on the new computer, and/or migrating your existing hard drive
configuration to the new machine to keep your computer intact
